Flow's strength comes from it's ability to integrate many differing systems simultaneously. Part of our job is to keep that information flowing when there are OS updates, updates to other systems, etc. To achieve that, all Flow purchases include support & maintenance which enables us to keep that commitment to you.
Perpetual License purchases include 1 year of support & maintenance to help you achieve that goal. For perpetual licenses, support & maintenance can be renewed on an annual basis and can be co-termed with other product licenses you have purchased from Software Toolbox.
Subscription Licenses automatically include support for each year your subscription is active and after the first year can also be co-termed with other product licenses you have purchased from Software Toolbox.
We strive to keep our support and maintenance agreement renewal costs low in absolute US$ terms. To do that, there are things that are not included in the price of the agreements. Our professional services can address some needs in the items not included, or we may refer you to a member of our system integrator partner network for other paid services. The answer depends on the license type you purchased.
A perpetual product license will NOT stop Flow from working just because support is expired.
On a subscription license, if your renewal is not paid, and updated license code applied, the Flow engine will stop updating data. When you do apply your renewal code, Flow will "catch up" for any missed data retrieval and calculations, unless your raw data source no longer exist, which is outside our control.
However, if you are not on the most current version, we cannot guarantee that the product will work with newer Windows Versions, Windows Updates, if you are not on the most current version of the product.
Keeping an active support and maintenance agreement helps you ensure compatibility with operating systems, data sources, and data consumers. Additionally, active support and maintenance provides access to our support team if/when any issues require assistance.
Yes, you can re-instate your support and maintenance agreement or subscription for Flow.
Depending on the situation, re-instatement fees may apply.

Support & Maintenance Agreements on perpetual licenses are non-refundable. If you no longer wish to continue support and maintenance for your product license, simply choose not to renew at the end of your current term.
Similarly, subscription annual fees are non-refundable.
The demo software is fully functioning for 30 days for up to 100 measures and 10 events. Systems built with trial software can be put into production by purchasing a Flow license.
