Redundant OPC Router Instances

For such a high-availability application, the two OPC Routers with the Redundancy Add-on are installed in a network as primary and secondary. Mutual monitoring takes place and in the event of a functional failure of the primary OPC Router, the secondary OPC Router automatically takes over all tasks from the hot stand-by. As soon as the primary OPC Router is available again, the secondary OPC Router automatically switches back to hot stand-by mode.

Redundant Data Connections

Systems that OPC Router connects to that have their own redundant systems can be integrated using this add-on that is part of the Enterprise+ Add-On pack.

For example redundant SAP systems, database systems such as SQL, MySQL, Oracle and others, as well as OPC UA and Classic DA systems can be handled as redundant data connections.
