High Availability Redundant OPC Router Instances

For the example application shown here, the two OPC Routers with the Redundancy Add-on are installed in a network as primary and secondary. Monitoring takes place between the instances and in the event of a functional failure of the primary OPC Router, the secondary OPC Router automatically takes over all tasks from the hot stand-by. As soon as the primary OPC Router is available again, the secondary OPC Router automatically switches back to hot stand-by mode.

This solution can be implemented with any combination of OPC Router features, not just the one shown here, provided you have the Redundancy Add-On licensed.
