This in depth training video teaches you how to use templates in OPC Router to scale configuration for applications where you have many instances of the same connection but some parameters that need to be changed for each instance. It also shows how you can dynamically manage instances of templates through SQL tables to create highly flexible systems for integrating your IT and OT data.
Note that starting with OPC Router Version 4.25, if using dynamic template instances, your dynamic instance detail tables that trigger the object creation, must be stored in a SQL database such as SQL Express, because the OPC Router internal database was moved to MongoDB starting in version 4.25. The configuration will vary from the video here slightly, but the operating concept remains the same.
The demo is the full product. When you put an OPC Router project into runtime, it will stop operating after 2 hours and have to be restarted. Purchase of a license will remove the restriction.
