The TOP Server Weatherford 8500 driver provides a communication interface for Weatherford Rod Pump Controllers (RPC) supporting the Weatherford 8500 Serial protocol including via Ethernet/serial convertors/radios/terminal services.
Weatherford RPCs are widely used at wellhead facilities in the Oil & Gas Industry are known by many names including Baker Hughes, WellPilot, ePIC and others listed in the device support list below.
The Weatherford 8500 Serial Driver provides an easy and reliable way to read and write data to Weatherford series devices via the Weatherford 8500 protocol through client applications (including HMI, SCADA, Historian, MES, ERP, and countless custom applications).

The demo is the full product once licensed. Once a client application connects to the TOP Server, the TOP Server runtime will operate for 2 hours at a time. At the end of the 2 hour demo period, the demo timer must be reset by restarting the TOP Server runtime service.
