Enron Modbus Key Features Include

  • Maximum Number of Channels & Devices: 
    • Channels - 1024
    • Devices per Channel - 255
    • COM Port Range - 1 to 999
    • NOTE: Practical channel/device limits will vary depending on your available system resources and communications architecture
  • Configurable Modbus Data Encoding Settings for maximum flexibility
  • Supports user-defined block sizes that are configurable at runtime
  • Supports communications serialization (multiple protocols over same communications link)
  • Support for zero-based archives (for use with Fisher ROC devices)
  • Support for Extended Stations IDs (device IDs above 255)
  • Configurable to include Hex FF before the Extended Station ID in requests.
    • Some RTUs (Schneider Electric SCADAPacks) require this for successful communications to a device configured to use Extended Station ID (above 255)
  • Configurable addressing - flexible support for users with devices not adhering to standard Enron address extensions

  • EFM Configuration and Mapping (EFM History / EFM Alarm / EFM Event)
  • EFM Pointer File caching to disk (eliminates repoll when server is restarted)
  • Pointer Rollback capability for retrieving lost EFM data from a device
  • Time synchronization on EFM poll, user-specified interval, or time of day

The demo is the full product once licensed. Once a client application connects to the  TOP Server, the TOP Server runtime will operate for 2 hours at a time. At the end of the 2 hour demo period, the demo timer must be reset by restarting the TOP Server runtime service.
