Easily change a variety of channel, device and other settings at runtime
An often understated benefit of the TOP Server is the ability to make changes to the configuration on the run in the user interface when in Runtime configuration mode, through special system tags or via web service calls to the Configuration API. Many other servers require you to disconnect the client application to make configuration changes.
The ability to make runtime changes supported by the TOP Server can greatly decrease start-up and testing time as well as simplifying system maintenance and reducing downtime. You can also prevent unauthorized changes using the built-in security features which enable granular user access permissions.
