TOP Server Memory Based OPC Driver Details
Reliable memory mapping for use as device database
The Memory Based Driver works in conjunction with TOP Server® to provide an exchange of device data between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients by acting as a device database or memory map container on the PC.
This driver enables you to retain tag values between server runs. When the driver's Item Persistence is activated, all D register addresses and string values will be saved when the OPC server shuts down. The values are restored the next time you open the OPC server project.

Memory Based Key Features Include
- Maximum Number of Channels & Devices:
- Channels - 100
- Devices per Channel - 999
- NOTE: Practical channel/device limits will vary depending on your available system resources

Memory Based Driver Advanced Features Include
- Supports Item Persistence by retaining tag values between server runs or at a user-configurable persistence rate (V6.15 or newer). Get Started Now
The demo is the full product once licensed. Once a client application connects to the TOP Server, the TOP Server runtime will operate for 2 hours at a time. At the end of the 2 hour demo period, the demo timer must be reset by restarting the TOP Server runtime service.
